On May 5^th at 0:50, upon casting the last truck of concrete, the bearing platform at Hongcun Bridge was completed, a first of all seven sections of the Ganzhou-Shenzhen Railway Project.

       With a total length of 469.05m, the Hongcun Bridge is proposed to have 15 bearing platforms. The one casted is the No. 7 bearing platform (10.2m(L) X 4.8m(W) X 2.2m(H)) designed to be constructed with 107.7m3 of Concrete. To get off to a good start, the Project Management stayed ahead of schedule and worked on a refined procedure and the scientific allocation of resources. Safety construction through technical disclosure and on-site management, as one way of building up the Company’s image in the local business community, is not to be lagged behind as well. 

      The successful completion of the first bearing platform has provided valuable experience to draw on for bearing platform construction at a later stage.
